True Born and Shadow - Clais Linh is a man apart from others, and to abate his loneliness, he's ordered a companion, a Shadow, a man grown to exact specifications who might thereby come to love Clais and share his life with him.

Personally - Happiness doesn't mean having lots of money, fame, or fancy cars and clothes to Dane Cassell. It means a small room with enough to eat, warmth, and no

one to answer to or be afraid of. Then Dane helps a fellow runaway, a strange boy named Toby, and discovers maybe happiness is better, much better, shared.

Master of Horse - Lord Oda der Karn keeps horses, a fine stable full of them. When a trusted stableman betrays the lord, there remains only Loriat, a young horseman whose dedication to his charges impresses Oda. Soon, Loriat's affection for Oda impresses the master of the house, as well.

Shadeflower -  A shy bookworm, Wolvine Onan is not the usual young lord of a good House, more concerned with research and botany than swords and battle. When House

Dregor sends a daughter of their House as proof of their gratitude and willingness to keep a treaty regarding a road through Onan land, her stormy past makes her distrust every kindness Wolvine offers.

Sheltered - Talon z'Moll is a dancer, an exotic mix of ancestry that has given him rare looks, a supple body, and a determination to survive and improve his lot. Colter Ramell is a man who's lived a hard life in a hard universe, and can now afford to surround himself with beauty.
